Today I have VERY EXCITING NEWS!

ISD is launching a brand-new game changing platform for community clubs! This is the result of collaboration with an amazing colleague and safeguarding expert, Samantha Dellamarta.

With today being International Safe Sport Day what better moment than now to share this momentous announcement.

But first the backstory...

For years both Sam Dellamarta and I have been working independently on solutions to solve the challenge of supporting clubs to implement good practice at scale. In Sam's case, focused on safeguarding children and young people in clubs, in my case inclusion.

In a fortuitous conversation in late 2024 we realised our missions were aligned and our approaches complimentary. We’d both made attempts in different ways to support sport organisation and clubs directly with the resources tools and guidance needed to effect sustainable change. But scaling, understanding impact and enabling cubs to act remained a challenge. Sport needed a better way.

In short time we went from "imagine if..." to concept, to framework, to prototype, to securing our first sport organisation willing to jump in and co-create the end product, and now to launch.

That end product is Level Up.

A scalable digital safeguarding and inclusion implementation platform designed with the realities of clubs in mind and the needs of sport organisations to “own the process” and understand outcomes and impacts.

Introducing Level Up

We’re excited to officially launch Level Up – a game-changing new platform for community sport clubs and governing bodies committed to creating safer, more inclusive sport environments.

Co-created by child safeguarding specialist Sam Dellamarta and sport inclusion expert and ISD Founder, Michael Woods, Level Up gives clubs and peak bodies the practical tools and structured support needed to embed safeguarding and inclusion practices at the grassroots level.

Clubs are guided, step-by-step, through completing practical high impact actions over a staged program that enables continuous improvement over the long term. All while being overseen and monitored by the sport peak body.
